the discussion of God is the one on how do we make sense of what's going on - granting the events we are part of with some meaning, constructing the causes and consequences of these...
... Like last week I lost my key purse - locked my and my companion's bikes at a shop and we went in to pick up a free bag and a package of junk food, in 5 minutes I realized that my little purse was gone, and the key from the bike's lock either.... we went back to the bikes - nothing there, went around the shop, asked the customer service, left them my phone number, asked people in the shop and outside - no use... got upset... my companion took off to job - having no more time for jogging agound there, I made several more useless body movements, then went back to the bikes, and, sure enough, there was my purse sitting on the bike sit. Somebody might have put it there.
Should I mentally thank god, or to thank those anonimous "good guys" who returned my thing with all it's content untouched? ;)
Anyway I ended up with two bikes, and had to move both to deliver one to the owner... Have you ever tryed to drive two bikes? The task for a real circus professional;) And on top of it, as I sowly moved on, anyone could think that I got a stollen bike... fortunetely a jogging fellow passed by and I asked
him to help me to ride one to the necessary building, he agreed - a nice guy - from the engeneering department a student from Iran, on the way he said that the Iranian elections would not went in such undemocratic way if Russia and China would not support the existing government... an interesting idea, I did not know about that kind of explanation. Anyway, he helped me with the bike, Ali was his name. I need to learn farcy, at least some greetings, as "allah ackbar" often doesn't fit ;)
